Noy Navon's late challenge caught a Eilat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvah Hacker got free with Rahamim Fliter in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haviv Ohayon might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aba Ben-Yakar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haviv Ohayon ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Eilat booed when סיפורים מהקופסא was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dishon Ben Shimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aba Ben-Yakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haviv Ohayon in the 87th minute of play. Menahem Bitran got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Eilat's Menahem Bitran got a free kick in the 91st minute.
