Stratos Ntalaras kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thymios Korakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. In the 30th minute Theodosis Katergiannakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lakis Stamatiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Marios Argyrakos. Iordanis Thomaidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniil Pavlakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thymios Korakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniil Pavlakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Thomaidis having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Eutichios Kabosis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Yannouziα BC's Nestoras Mitseas got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes, AEK FC's Giannis Petsanas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iordanis Thomaidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AEK FC reached it. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Yannouziα BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Ntalaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Thymios Korakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iordanis Thomaidis. Thymios Korakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Anthimos Labakis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Daniil Pavlakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Thomaidis having to interfere. Eustratios Bellos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordanis Thomaidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Korakis in the 92nd minute of play. AEK FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
