The referee gave Polidhιndhri BC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Panos Vasiliadis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dafnochori's Stefanos Nentakis. 0-1. If Stavros Soukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Pargalatsos in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasos Mountakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marinos Aggelakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Stefanos Nentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorotheos Linaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dafnochori's Stefanos Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaios Mavros in the 25th minute of play. Stefanos Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaios Mavros, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Vaios Mavros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Stefanos Nentakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paschalis Kapriniotis charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paschalis Kapriniotis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paschalis Kapriniotis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Stratos Pantoflaras was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. Vaios Mavros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Nentakis having to interfere. Dafnochori's Stefanos Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaios Mavros in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Polidhιndhri BC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tasos Mountakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Soukis, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Stavros Soukis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paschalis Kapriniotis struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tasos Mountakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dafnochori. After 58 minutes, Orestis Makris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polidhιndhri BC and the Dafnochori players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dafnochori booed when Polidhιndhri BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orestis Makris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitris Kododimos, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Polidhιndhri BC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marinos Aggelakoglou hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Dafnochori's Stavros Soukis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tasos Mountakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Thymios Papachronas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dafnochori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polidhιndhri BC the free kick. After 72 played minutes Dafnochori got a freekick which was hit by Thymios Papachronas. Stavros Soukis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tasos Mountakis having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Dafnochori's zone, Dorotheos Linaris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefanos Nentakis came out of the goal and Dorotheos Linaris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Polidhιndhri BC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marinos Aggelakoglou hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorotheos Linaris got free with Stefanos Nentakis in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theofanis Souanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tasos Mountakis having to interfere. Stavros Soukis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vladimiros Koubaroulis came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Dafnochori fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiros Koubaroulis couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Polidhιndhri BC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
