An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Pargalatsos in the 7th minute of play forced Arkochóri BC's goalkeeper Alketas Gagatsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stavros Soukis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Gagatsis having to interfere. When Tolis Bagasakis fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arkochóri BC's protests and gave Tolis Bagasakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Tolis Bagasakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miltos Sinodinos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefanos Nentakis having to make a save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dafnochori's goalkeeper Stefanos Nentakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stavros Soukis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Gagatsis having to interfere. Stefanos Nentakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miltos Sinodinos's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute Stavros Soukis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alketas Gagatsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giannis Maniatis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Nentakis having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Pipis Romanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arkochóri BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dafnochori the free kick. In the 44th minute, Pipis Romanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

If Stavros Soukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arkochóri BC's Pipis Romanos got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Pipis Romanos off the ground. 56 minutes into the game, Dafnochori's Stavros Soukis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alketas Gagatsis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miltos Sinodinos during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Arkochóri BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltos Sinodinos to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alketas Gagatsis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Miltos Sinodinos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes, Dafnochori's Stratos Pantoflaras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alketas Gagatsis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dafnochori reached it. Adamantios Sevastopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Nentakis having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Thalis Pargalatsos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Thalis Pargalatsos came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Dafnochori fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thalis Pargalatsos couldn't finish the play.
