The supporters of Vitoϊma booed when ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚΟΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Keratzoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menios Pargalatsos got free with Emmanouil Skarmoutsos in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚΟΣ's Stelios Kapsis got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Vitoϊma's Fondas Dousis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Emmanouil Skarmoutsos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fondas Dousis. A collision led to ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚΟΣ getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aggelos Diamantidis hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fondas Dousis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fondas Dousis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Menios Pargalatsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanouil Skarmoutsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fotis Fanidis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Themis Koumantarakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Vitoϊma got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Fanidis. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚΟΣ's Aggelos Diamantidis got a free kick in the 77th minute. The referee ignored ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚΟΣ's protests and gave Christos Tsartsalis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vitoϊma booed when ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚΟΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Tsartsalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vitoϊma fully deserved thier win.
