With his leg Alex Maggi managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Nevrovounνta FC's Alkinoos Pantazoulis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkinoos Pantazoulis in the 7th minute of play forced Vrahateika FC's goalkeeper Alex Maggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vrahateika FC's Alex Maggi got control of the ball when Aris Tsilikos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nevrovounνta FC's Aris Tsilikos got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Nevrovounνta FC's Alkinoos Pantazoulis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Maggi. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. In the 24th minute Jacinto Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Tassiopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alkinoos Pantazoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Dalianas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Marinos Kritikopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paraskevas Tassiopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Alkinoos Pantazoulis came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nevrovounνta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkinoos Pantazoulis couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Alkinoos Pantazoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alkinoos Pantazoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Nevrovounνta FC's Vrasidas Mouras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Maggi. Alex Maggi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Alkinoos Pantazoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Vrahateika FC's goalkeeper Alex Maggi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aris Tsilikos. Nevrovounνta FC's Aris Tsilikos managed to work through Vrahateika FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aris Tsilikos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexis Kontogiannidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Babbis Lolos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Maggi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jacinto Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vrasidas Mouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Vrahateika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aris Tsilikos came free, but Alex Maggi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Maggi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vrasidas Mouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alex Maggi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alkinoos Pantazoulis went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 88 in the game by Alexis Kontogiannidis from a close distance when the talented Paraskevas Tassiopoulos managed to make a qualified save. Nevrovounνta FC's players were relieved. Alexis Kontogiannidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Paraskevas Tassiopoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee ended the match the Nevrovounνta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
