After a rather tough play, Vrύses FC's Panagiotis Nalbantis got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Giorgos Bellidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Charalambous in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Simos Dimatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Bellidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theagenis Charalambakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Kaounos in the 17th minute of play. If Manolis Kaounos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Vrύses FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thrasivoulos Charalambous came free, but Giorgos Bellidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bogdhanátika BC's zone, Zinon Nousias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theagenis Charalambakis came out of the goal and Zinon Nousias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zinon Nousias took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theagenis Charalambakis. Theagenis Charalambakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Bogdhanátika BC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vaggelis Grigorakoglou hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Iakovos Telakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Anastasios Chiloudakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgos Bellidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Charalambous in the 40th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simos Dimatos to strike the kick off in the second half. Zinon Nousias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. When Manolis Kaounos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Vrύses FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolis Kaounos couldn't finish the play. When Panagiotis Nalbantis fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vrύses FC's protests and gave Panagiotis Nalbantis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Panagiotis Nalbantis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simos Dimatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Theagenis Charalambakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Chiloudakis in the 93rd minute of the match. Theagenis Charalambakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolis Kaounos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
