A collision led to Lαva getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fokas Chatzipetris hit a great ball. Aris Salmatanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Vardoulakis in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Lαva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telis Koufos to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Michalis Kritikopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Thymios Vardoulakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zαtouna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thymios Vardoulakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thymios Vardoulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aris Salmatanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Zacharas during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petros Saravakos went to the wrong direction when Telis Koufos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Dellas in the 39th minute of play forced Lαva's goalkeeper Aris Salmatanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petros Saravakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Salevris in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Fokas Chatzipetris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lαva's supporters rose to their feet, but Fokas Chatzipetris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Saravakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Petros Saravakos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Telis Papalexis made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Telis Papalexis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zαtouna's supporters rose to their feet, but Telis Papalexis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aris Salmatanis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Thymios Vardoulakis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lαva's Aris Salmatanis. Aris Salmatanis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 57 minutes, Telis Papalexis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Zαtouna booed when Lαva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Valantis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aris Salmatanis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thymios Vardoulakis in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Lαva's goal looked a bit too open when Telis Papalexis came free, but Aris Salmatanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aris Salmatanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telis Papalexis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zαtouna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
