After some careless play in the Kavνli defense, Dimitris Lavdas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogenis Papasouzas. The Kavνli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogenis Papasouzas should have stopped the shot. If Dimitris Lavdas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Leontaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogenis Papasouzas having to interfere. The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when Kavνli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Tourkogiorgis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vodka Juniors's Fotis Voukefalas got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Zacharas in the 22nd minute of play forced Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Christoforos Karvouniaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vodka Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kostas Kazantzidis was slow to take the kick. During this time Kavνli's players had a chance to rest. 26 minutes into the match, Kostas Panagoulias notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kavνli's Diogenis Papasouzas. Diogenis Papasouzas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sakis Dimakis fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vodka Juniors's protests and gave Sakis Dimakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Dimakis to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chrisostomos Zacharas made a kick off. Diogenis Papasouzas was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Dimitris Lavdas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimitris Lavdas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 56th minute, Sakis Dimakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
