The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elatos BC. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C. Atilla Nurbay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eustratios Kabitsis. 0-3. Manos Vourousis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthimos Svoronos in the 37th minute of play forced Elatos BC's goalkeeper Eustratios Kabitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charalambos Basinas in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
