With an all-out effort, karasoyli fc's Nikolas Tochouroglou threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonis Chiotis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miltos Lagoudakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Nikolas Tochouroglou when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonis Chiotis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikolas Tochouroglou. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 34 played minutes AXAIKOS got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Manouselis. After a rather tough play, karasoyli fc's Kosmas Prekkas got a free kick in the 38th minute. Miltos Lagoudakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, karasoyli fc's Antonis Chiotis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikolas Tochouroglou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Miltos Lagoudakis made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Rubén Menendez mouthed his way into the referee's book. AXAIKOS's Filippos Charalambakis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 72nd minute Antonis Chiotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Tochouroglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Kalaboukidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimitris Kostiadis having to make a save.
