After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Stamatis Tsagogeorgas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spαtovon BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stamatis Tsagogeorgas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stavros Chasiotis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Áspros BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Chronakos came free, but Stavros Chasiotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stamatis Tsagogeorgas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Stavros Chasiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Áspros BC's zone, Stamatis Tsagogeorgas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stavros Chasiotis came out of the goal and Stamatis Tsagogeorgas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Paris Mantzios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spαtovon BC and the Áspros BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paris Mantzios kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Vaggelis Chronakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Áspros BC's Stavros Chasiotis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chrisostomos Matalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Chronakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stavros Chasiotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Spαtovon BC's Vaggelis Chronakos, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Spαtovon BC. In the 40th minute Stamatis Tsagogeorgas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stavros Chasiotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Antonis Tritsonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Áspros BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonis Tritsonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stamatis Tsagogeorgas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaggelis Chronakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Stavros Chasiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Spαtovon BC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fivos Kabantais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vaggelis Chronakos struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Stavros Chasiotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spαtovon BC. Antonis Paliouras kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Vaggelis Chronakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Stavros Chasiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamatis Tsagogeorgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stavros Chasiotis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaggelis Chronakos in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stavros Chasiotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd match minute, Áspros BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fondas Zounis to maneuver through the defense. Stavros Chasiotis was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Thodoris Kousas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thodoris Kousas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Antonis Tritsonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fragiskos Koutsomitras having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Stamatis Tsagogeorgas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spαtovon BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamatis Tsagogeorgas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Áspros BC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
