Nikos Kosmas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Bouloukos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Stefanos fc's Nikos Kosmas got control of the ball when Charis Voliotis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kosmas Kalathas during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Stefanos fc's zone, Charis Voliotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Kosmas came out of the goal and Charis Voliotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikos Kosmas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charis Voliotis's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Stefanos fc's Kleanthis Mouraitidis got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Themistoklis Bouloukos came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Lykostáni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themistoklis Bouloukos couldn't finish the play. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
