Christos Vakrinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Theocharis Efthimis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aiyialσs's Thrasivoulos Sikalias. Thrasivoulos Sikalias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilias Kechagias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Kefaloukos having to interfere. Dimitris Sapounopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manos Kefaloukos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Demis Vougas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Themistoklis Stavrakakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Thrasivoulos Sikalias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thrasivoulos Sikalias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Vakrinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Christos Vasiliou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Theocharis Efthimis made a precise shot to the right of Thrasivoulos Sikalias. Aiyialσs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Manos Kefaloukos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Sapounopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Babbis Kriaropoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Babbis Kriaropoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Aiyialσs got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Kriaropoulos. Christos Vasiliou kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitris Sapounopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Manos Kefaloukos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Sapounopoulos in the 53rd minute of the match. Vaggelis Tragos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Manos Kefaloukos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match Kostas Kyriazis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manos Kefaloukos skillfully saved the ball. Vaggelis Tragos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Kefaloukos having to interfere. When Aiyialσs's Dimitris Sapounopoulos, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Aiyialσs. If Christos Vakrinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aiyialσs's zone, Themistoklis Stavrakakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thrasivoulos Sikalias came out of the goal and Themistoklis Stavrakakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Dimitris Sapounopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Kefaloukos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Christos Rodinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armenioν FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aiyialσs the free kick. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Armenioν FC! Armenioν FC:s Manos Kefaloukos showed great skill when he stopped Miltos Mostratos:s penalty. If Dimitris Sapounopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Tragos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Manos Kefaloukos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Armenioν FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
