Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitris Sapounopoulos started the match with the kick off. Dimitris Sapounopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Soulis Theodorakakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thrasivoulos Sikalias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaggelis Tragos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vaggelis Tragos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Dimitris Sapounopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aiyialσs's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Sapounopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Karakostas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaggelis Tragos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasios Karakostas having to make a save. If Stefanos Vyntras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aiyialσs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Thrasivoulos Sikalias went to the wrong direction when Zacharias Poulkos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Anastasios Karakostas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vaggelis Tragos went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dhafnσnas BC's Stefanos Vyntras got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dhafnσnas BC's Soulis Theodorakakos in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aiyialσs's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Soulis Theodorakakos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thrasivoulos Sikalias, passed just outside the right post. Soulis Theodorakakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Soulis Theodorakakos to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christos Vasiliou during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stefanos Vyntras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thrasivoulos Sikalias having to interfere. Vaggelis Tragos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Aiyialσs's goal looked a bit too open when Soulis Theodorakakos came free, but Thrasivoulos Sikalias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Miltos Mostratos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aiyialσs's protests and gave Miltos Mostratos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aiyialσs getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Miltos Mostratos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aiyialσs's zone, Stefanos Vyntras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thrasivoulos Sikalias came out of the goal and Stefanos Vyntras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thrasivoulos Sikalias didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dhafnσnas BC's Soulis Theodorakakos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Dhafnσnas BC defense, Dimitris Sapounopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasios Karakostas. The Dhafnσnas BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasios Karakostas should have stopped the shot. Vaggelis Tragos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Anastasios Karakostas made a huge save. Aiyialσs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
