The referee showed Manolis Mamakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lιka's Manolis Mamakos got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Alexandros Kalogerakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lιka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Kalogerakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alexandros Kalogerakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolis Mamakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akis Partaolas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manolis Mamakos ran back to his position shaking his head. Akis Partaolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolis Mamakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panagiotis Kantilas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Lιka's Alexandros Kalogerakis got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alexandros Kalogerakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32nd play minutes Alexandros Kalogerakis shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Akis Partaolas and just under the crossbar into goal. Panagiotis Kantilas's late challenge caught a Lιka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panagiotis Kantilas helped the player get up and apologised. Panagiotis Kantilas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Belokomitis's zone, Manos Passalis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akis Partaolas came out of the goal and Manos Passalis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panagiotis Kantilas got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Panagiotis Kantilas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Manos Passalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lιka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manos Passalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Alexandros Kalogerakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belokomitis's Akis Partaolas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Lιka were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandros Kalogerakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandros Kalogerakis got free with Akis Partaolas in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Manolis Mamakos came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lιka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolis Mamakos couldn't finish the play. Lιka's Alexandros Kalogerakis got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Manos Passalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lιka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manos Passalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akis Partaolas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandros Kalogerakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Alexandros Kalogerakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Akis Partaolas, 0-6. With a little luck, Belokomitis's Akis Partaolas got control of the ball when Alexandros Kalogerakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
