Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Méga Peristéri's Christos Pathiakakis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thémellon's Aggelos Antzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Pathiakakis in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th play minute Thomas Lazakis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petros Karataidis. 1-0. Thomas Lazakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Karataidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Markos Chionidis charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markos Chionidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Thémellon's Markos Chionidis got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Christos Pathiakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Méga Peristéri booed when Thémellon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Chionidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christos Pathiakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Dimitris Peropoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christos Pathiakakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimitris Peropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Lazakis in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petros Karataidis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dimitris Peropoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanis Totsis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Thémellon's Stratos Vorres tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dimitris Peropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Petros Karataidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Peropoulos made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Méga Peristéri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fanis Totsis to maneuver through the defense. Iason Maras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petros Karataidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Lazakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Lazakis in the 69th minute of play forced Méga Peristéri's goalkeeper Petros Karataidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thomas Lazakis came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Thémellon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Lazakis couldn't finish the play. Petros Karataidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Lazakis in the 84th minute of the match. Dimitris Peropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Karataidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Thomas Lazakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitris Peropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Karataidis having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Méga Peristéri got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Sabatakis. Petros Karataidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Peropoulos's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Petros Karataidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Lazakis in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to Méga Peristéri getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Fanis Totsis hit a great ball. If Dimitris Peropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thémellon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Méga Peristéri for a fine match.
