After some careless play in the Matarαngas BC defense, Dimos Megalios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasios Geropappas. The Matarαngas BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasios Geropappas should have stopped the shot. Dionysis Zois's late challenge caught a Mega Kazavition's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionysis Zois helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Matarαngas BC's Dionysis Zois got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match Chatziantoniou Theodoratos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasios Geropappas skillfully saved the ball. Charalambos Adamakoss short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Alekos Chatzipanagis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alekos Chatzipanagis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charalambos Adamakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Mega Kazavition's Alekos Chatzipanagis got control of the ball when Charalambos Adamakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charalambos Adamakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alekos Chatzipanagis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alekos Chatzipanagis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babbis Karaiskakis in the 41st minute. Anastasios Geropappas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimos Megalios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Matarαngas BC's Miltiadis Chatzakis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fondas Gaitatzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matarαngas BC's Anastasios Geropappas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimos Megalios in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Mega Kazavition booed when Matarαngas BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iason Papadaskalopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Babbis Georgakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mega Kazavition's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matarαngas BC the free kick. After 78 played minutes Mega Kazavition got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Georgakis. In the 79th minute of the match Dionysis Zois shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alekos Chatzipanagis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes in the game, Dimos Megalios fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anastasios Geropappas having to interfere. Dimos Megalios might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasios Geropappas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimos Megalios ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimos Megalios got free with Anastasios Geropappas in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90thth minute of the game Charalambos Adamakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mega Kazavition's Alekos Chatzipanagis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mega Kazavition's Fondas Gaitatzis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
