Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) OntinIce's Lazaros Vourlis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, OntinIce's goalkeeper Lambros Spazokefalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stratos Kalantas. Andreas Bertsis made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lazaros Vourlis immediately put the ball in play. Lazaros Vourlis scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Takis Stratis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to OntinIce getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alkis Pallis hit a great ball. Omiros Stamatelopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambros Spazokefalos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aggelos Tsagaropoulos during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panathinaikos booed when OntinIce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Tsagaropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes in the game, Kostas Chloros fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lambros Spazokefalos having to interfere. Ermis Tsilikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimosthenis Macheridis in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Takis Stratis saved Panathinaikos from getting behind. Andreas Bertsis got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aggelos Tsagaropoulos. Panathinaikos's Takis Stratis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimosthenis Macheridis in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Panathinaikos defense, Aggelos Tsagaropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Takis Stratis. The Panathinaikos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Takis Stratis should have stopped the shot. After having played for 38 minutes, Stratos Kalantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panathinaikos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Kalantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panathinaikos's attentive Giorgos Kavogiannis managed to snatch the ball when Andreas Bertsis made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Omiros Stamatelopoulos came free in the 44th minute and tried to tip the ball over Lambros Spazokefalos, but to the joy of OntinIce's supporters the ball went over. Takis Stratis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Tsagaropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Dimosthenis Macheridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Stratis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd minute, Aggelos Tsagaropoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Takis Stratis. The goal made the score 0-3. Errikos Tolias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Takis Stratis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Stratis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimosthenis Macheridis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. In the 75th minute Dimosthenis Macheridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Stratis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaros Vourlis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Takis Stratis made a huge save. Lazaros Vourlis scored 0-5 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Takis Stratis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Takis Stratis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alkis Pallis. 85 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos's goalkeeper Takis Stratis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aggelos Tsagaropoulos. 86 minutes into the game, Dimosthenis Macheridis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Stratos Kalantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Panathinaikos lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
