Paschalis Tsamis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Panagidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktoras Kanatopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Themis Alexiadis made a huge save. Kyriakos Sotiriadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tzermiádhon FC's Themis Alexiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefanos Mestos in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Tzermiádhon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Sotiriadis came free, but Themis Alexiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefanos Mestos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefanos Mestos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antonis Panagidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktoras Kanatopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Themis Alexiadis made a huge save. After 42 minutes, Theagenis Mantelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the karaiskakis and the Tzermiádhon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Antonis Panagidis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tzermiádhon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonis Panagidis couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Marinos Papaggelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paschalis Tsamis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Kyriakos Sotiriadis made the kick off in the second half. Themis Alexiadis came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by karaiskakis's Viktoras Kanatopoulos. But to his dismay, Viktoras Kanatopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 61 minutes into the game, one of karaiskakis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 1-3 came through a penalty shot after 63 played minutes, when Tzermiádhon FC:s Markos Kefalakis calmly waited for karaiskakis:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Viktoras Kanatopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes karaiskakis got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Mestos. If Antonis Panagidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Antonis Panagidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tzermiádhon FC and the karaiskakis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of karaiskakis booed when Tzermiádhon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Panagidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, karaiskakis's goalkeeper Paschalis Tsamis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iosif Kalaitzidis. After having played for 81 minutes, Marinos Papaggelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tzermiádhon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marinos Papaggelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, karaiskakis's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Papaggelis came free, but Paschalis Tsamis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonis Panagidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Paschalis Tsamis made a huge save. karaiskakis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Antonis Panagidis scored to the left of an out of position Paschalis Tsamis, making the score, 2-4. Giannis Dabizas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Tzermiádhon FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
