In the 6thth minute of the game Nikos Tokalidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plevroma's Christos Giakoumis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Spyros Kasapopoulos during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandros Makris hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Giannis Efthimiou notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Néa Alikarnassos FC's Dimitris Peponas. Dimitris Peponas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christos Giakoumis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babbis Spyridakis in the 23rd minute. The Plevroma players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
