Fanis Valassis hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Kharaktinσs BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kosmas Bosis to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Theofanis Kretsos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miltos Kallimanis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Kharaktinσs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Kallimanis came free, but Stathis Tirovolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theofanis Kretsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Tsakanikas having to interfere. Stathis Tirovolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Kallimanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltos Kallimanis in the 26th minute of play forced Kharaktinσs BC's goalkeeper Stathis Tirovolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argyris Ifantis scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stathis Tirovolas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Theofanis Kretsos charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theofanis Kretsos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kharaktinσs BC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Theofanis Kretsos hit a great ball. Argyris Ifantis struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Stathis Tirovolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flesiαs BC. Vassilis Tsakanikas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Valassis in the 37th minute. Kharaktinσs BC's Stathis Tirovolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Kallimanis in the 39th minute of play. Theofanis Kretsos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vassilis Tsakanikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Flesiαs BC booed when Kharaktinσs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Kopidakis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

If Miltos Kallimanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vassilis Tsakanikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Valassis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kharaktinσs BC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
