Anastasios Koufaliotis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stavros Parathirakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Koufaliotis having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Akis Papaefthimiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rνnglia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Papaefthimiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Portalier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Petras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Makis Karagiannopoulos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AIOLIKOS.FC's César Portalier. César Portalier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Portalier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Petras in the 27th minute of the match. AIOLIKOS.FC's César Portalier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Petras in the 28th minute of play. César Portalier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makis Karagiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kostas Filaretos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasios Koufaliotis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stavros Parathirakis's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 48th minute, Panagiotis Petras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Portalier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

58 minutes into the match, AIOLIKOS.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Papaefthimiou came free, but César Portalier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Arabatzis's late challenge caught a Rνnglia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Arabatzis helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the AIOLIKOS.FC defense, Makis Karagiannopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Portalier. The AIOLIKOS.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Portalier should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, AIOLIKOS.FC's goalkeeper César Portalier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Petras. AIOLIKOS.FC were furious when Sotiris Karagiannis was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 71 minutes into the game, one of AIOLIKOS.FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. AIOLIKOS.FC:s César Portalier showed great skill when he stopped Spyros Giannakis:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Rνnglia's Panagiotis Petras got a free kick in the 75th minute. César Portalier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koulis Kounenakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Rνnglia's Panagiotis Petras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of César Portalier. That made the score 1-4 after 92 minutes of play. Nikos Kousas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. César Portalier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Papaefthimiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Rνnglia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AIOLIKOS.FC throughout the match.
