When Valomándrion's Vrasidas Briolas in 4 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nikos Koroneos guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Sklνssa's Eugenios Salonikis in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nikos Koroneos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sotos Koukodimos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenios Salonikis in the 39th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valomándrion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sklνssa a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Prodromos Paloubas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Valomándrion's Sotos Koukodimos. 2-1. Vrasidas Briolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vrasidas Briolas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Strevlos in the 57th minute of play forced Sklνssa's goalkeeper Nikos Koroneos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
