Iordanis Fanakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleftherios Mitropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleftherios Mitropoulos went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the game, Lisvorion's Eleftherios Mitropoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Themos Rodinos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Valerios Psarras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lisvorion's Iosif Veritsis managed to work through Marathokámbou's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Iosif Veritsis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Lisvorion's Eleftherios Mitropoulos in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marathokámbou's goalie prevented a goal. If Tasos Vallas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Lisvorion were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Iosif Veritsis made the kick off in the second half. Marathokámbou's Panagiotis Katsikopodaros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Marathokámbou from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Tasos Makrodimitris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eleftherios Mitropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Panagiotis Katsikopodaros made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Lisvorion's goal looked a bit too open when Iordanis Fanakoglou came free, but Chatziantoniou Moukeas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Marathokámbou's Errikos Rousseas tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eleftherios Mitropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Iosif Veritsis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Panagiotis Katsikopodaros, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Iosif Veritsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisvorion's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Veritsis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Marathokámbou's Menelaos Papagiannatos got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Iosif Veritsis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lisvorion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Iosif Veritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marathokámbou's Panagiotis Katsikopodaros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Marathokámbou from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Iosif Veritsis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Katsikopodaros was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
