Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) REMAL MADRID's Prokopis Perdikas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Stelios Bertsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Marathokámbou's Tasos Vallas got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th match minute, Marathokámbou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimos Nikologiannis to maneuver through the defense. Prokopis Perdikas had several of the Marathokámbou's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Panagiotis Katsikopodaros as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in REMAL MADRID's zone, Iordanis Fanakoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Basilico came out of the goal and Iordanis Fanakoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prokopis Perdikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Prokopis Perdikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menelaos Papagiannatos's late challenge caught a REMAL MADRID's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menelaos Papagiannatos helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Marathokámbou got a freekick which was hit by Menelaos Papagiannatos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prokopis Perdikas in the 31st minute of play forced Marathokámbou's goalkeeper Panagiotis Katsikopodaros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prokopis Perdikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Katsikopodaros having to interfere. In the 38th minute Valerios Psarras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Basilico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prokopis Perdikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Concetto Basilico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menelaos Papagiannatos in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerios Psarras was the one to do the kick off. When Eleftherios Veniamin came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the REMAL MADRID fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleftherios Veniamin couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Marathokámbou defense, Prokopis Perdikas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panagiotis Katsikopodaros. The Marathokámbou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panagiotis Katsikopodaros should have stopped the shot. Stelios Bertsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prokopis Perdikas took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panagiotis Katsikopodaros. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Concetto Basilico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Psarras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prokopis Perdikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prokopis Perdikas in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelios Bertsis in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panagiotis Katsikopodaros saved Marathokámbou from getting behind. Concetto Basilico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerios Psarras in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Eleftherios Veniamin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Katsikopodaros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Katsikopodaros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prokopis Perdikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the REMAL MADRID players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
