Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leonidas Baskakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leonidas Baskakis had several of the Nímfai FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 5 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Babbis Koufopoulos as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 10th minute Nímfai FC were awarded a corner. Nestoras Mantalakis went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Akakios Chatzigeorgiou drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Simoutési's goalkeeper. Stamatis Marketis charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stamatis Marketis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nímfai FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Stamatis Marketis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nímfai FC's zone, Leonidas Baskakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babbis Koufopoulos came out of the goal and Leonidas Baskakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michalis Pourtoulidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamatis Marketis's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Nímfai FC's Babbis Koufopoulos got control of the ball when Panos Softis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panos Softis took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Babbis Koufopoulos. Babbis Koufopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 34th minute, Stratos Chrysafis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nímfai FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Simoutési's Michalis Pourtoulidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Chrysafis in the 37th minute of play. Prokopis Kourtidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Michalis Pourtoulidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Simoutési! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Nímfai FC. Nestoras Mantalakis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Michalis Pourtoulidis. 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stratos Chrysafis made a kick off. When Nímfai FC's Stratos Chrysafis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simoutési's goalie prevented a goal. Simoutési's Michalis Pourtoulidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Chrysafis in the 62nd minute of play. Leonidas Baskakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Babbis Koufopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michalis Pourtoulidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Chrysafis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michalis Pourtoulidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Chrysafis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Prokopis Kontargyris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demis Tsaliagos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Panos Softis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Koufopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Apostolos Peropoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Stratos Chrysafis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michalis Pourtoulidis was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. The Nímfai FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nímfai FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
