Piyι BC's Theagenis Serifis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionysis Bosinakos in the 8th minute of play. Theagenis Serifis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionysis Bosinakos's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trifon Matzanas during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Piyι BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Piyι BC defense, Dionysis Bosinakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theagenis Serifis. The Piyι BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theagenis Serifis should have stopped the shot. Theagenis Serifis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Periklis Bourlokas in the 22nd minute of the match. Theagenis Serifis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionysis Bosinakos's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Thanos Ntaralas's late challenge caught a Footopia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Ntaralas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Thanos Ntaralas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionysis Bosinakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Periklis Bourlokas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Avraam Kalafatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Serifis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Periklis Bourlokas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Footopia's Dionysis Bosinakos got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Theagenis Serifis managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Footopia's Avraam Kalafatakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piyι BC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jesper Hybbert was slow to take the kick. During this time Footopia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Footopia's Avraam Kalafatakis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dionysis Bosinakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Piyι BC got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Ntaralas. With a little luck, Piyι BC's Theagenis Serifis got control of the ball when Dionysis Bosinakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theagenis Serifis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Periklis Bourlokas sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the game, Periklis Bourlokas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Theagenis Serifis. Periklis Bourlokas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Christos Mitropanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Papageorgas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paris Vasalas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Footopia booed when Piyι BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Simos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dionysis Bosinakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionysis Bosinakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theagenis Serifis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionysis Bosinakos ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 79 in the game by Periklis Bourlokas from a close distance when the talented Theagenis Serifis managed to make a qualified save. Piyι BC's players were relieved. After 81 played minutes Dionysis Bosinakos rounded Piyι BC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. 86 minutes into the match, Piyι BC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionysis Bosinakos came free, but Theagenis Serifis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionysis Bosinakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theagenis Serifis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Thanos Ntaralas hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Piyι BC's Theagenis Serifis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Piyι BC from getting a goal against them. Footopia played a much better game than Piyι BC and deserved their victory. The Piyι BC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
