A wasted opportunity for Levkαkia FC. When Theofanis Gletsos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trasdhαni's protests and gave Theofanis Gletsos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Trasdhαni getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Theofanis Gletsos hit a great ball. Dionysis Karagiannopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chatziioannou Iraklidis having to make a save. Chatziioannou Iraklidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionysis Karagiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Dionysis Karagiannopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chatziioannou Iraklidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trasdhαni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kyriakos Philipopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Trasdhαni's Chatziioannou Iraklidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Martinakos in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trasdhαni's zone, Kleon Tsiabras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chatziioannou Iraklidis came out of the goal and Kleon Tsiabras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleon Tsiabras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Iraklidis having to interfere. Levkαkia FC's Sofoklis Voskaridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Pavloulis in the 92nd minute of play. Nikos Asimakoglou hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Levkαkia FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trasdhαni.
