The referee ignored Silver City's protests and gave Apostolos Kondilis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Levkαkia FC booed when Silver City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolos Kondilis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleon Tsiabras hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Iason Nikolopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofoklis Voskaridis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 16 minutes, Fivos Krezias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver City and the Levkαkia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
