Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manos Chomatas made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Moucha FC got a freekick which was hit by Bosun Ayara. The long shot by Miltos Christodoulakis in the 5th minute really tested Pavlos Sapounidis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Andreas Kazantzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manos Chomatas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Menios Chalkias saved Sinoikismos Marathou from getting behind. Bosun Ayara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Chalkias having to interfere. Pavlos Sapounidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nektarios Ochtaras in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sinoikismos Marathou's Iakovos Topalidis got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Moucha FC's goalkeeper Pavlos Sapounidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Diamantidis. Moucha FC's Pavlos Sapounidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nektarios Ochtaras in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Fotis Bartzos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moucha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Bartzos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nektarios Ochtaras in the 30th minute of play forced Moucha FC's goalkeeper Pavlos Sapounidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Fotis Bartzos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Sinoikismos Marathou defense, Manos Chomatas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menios Chalkias. The Sinoikismos Marathou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menios Chalkias should have stopped the shot. The Moucha FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Moucha FC's Manos Chomatas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 42 minutes, Bosun Ayara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moucha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bosun Ayara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Menios Chalkias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manos Chomatas in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bosun Ayara in the 47th minute of play forced Sinoikismos Marathou's goalkeeper Menios Chalkias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sinoikismos Marathou's Aggelos Psarros got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Moucha FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Manos Chomatas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Menios Chalkias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Moucha FC booed when Sinoikismos Marathou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iakovos Topalidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miltos Christodoulakis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Nektarios Ochtaras made a precise shot to the right of Pavlos Sapounidis. Moucha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sinoikismos Marathou's Menios Chalkias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Kazantzakis in the 67th minute of play. Menios Chalkias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bosun Ayara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moucha FC! Moucha FC:s Pavlos Sapounidis showed great skill when he stopped Emmanouil Rigas:s penalty. Pavlos Sapounidis came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sinoikismos Marathou's Emmanouil Rigas. But to his dismay, Emmanouil Rigas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Menios Chalkias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manos Chomatas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. Jorge Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Bosun Ayara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moucha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bosun Ayara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menios Chalkias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moucha FC played a much better game than Sinoikismos Marathou and deserved their victory. The Sinoikismos Marathou players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
