Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giorgos Giannoglou kicked off to start the match. Giorgos Giannoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Arif Batıkan having to interfere. Mehmet Arif Batıkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Giannoglou in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Maras during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skala Pakhoniou's Thomas Maras got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacharias Sousanis in the 15th minute of play forced Skala Pakhoniou's goalkeeper Mehmet Arif Batıkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mesongi FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Mesongi FC's Giorgos Giannoglou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Skala Pakhoniou's zone, Zacharias Sousanis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Arif Batıkan came out of the goal and Zacharias Sousanis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Kasimidis during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mesongi FC booed when Skala Pakhoniou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Kasimidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mesongi FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Skala Pakhoniou's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ntinos Kalyvopoulos took the corner. The corner led Mesongi FC's Ntinos Kalyvopoulos to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Arif Batıkan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Giorgos Giannoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakis Nikolaidis hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Takis Boulikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Zacharias Sousanis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesongi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacharias Sousanis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Arif Batıkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Giannoglou in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Zacharias Sousanis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Skala Pakhoniou players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mesongi FC were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Maras made a kick off. Zacharias Sousanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Arif Batıkan having to interfere. Skala Pakhoniou's Thomas Maras got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mesongi FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Argyris Tsimas hit a great ball. Manos Logarakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanasis Simos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Takis Boulikakis struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ntinos Kessaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skala Pakhoniou. Ntinos Kessaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Boulikakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ntinos Kessaris came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Skala Pakhoniou's Takis Boulikakis. But to his dismay, Takis Boulikakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Takis Boulikakis came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Skala Pakhoniou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takis Boulikakis couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Zacharias Sousanis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the last second Mehmet Arif Batıkan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Giorgos Giannoglou in the 87thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Takis Boulikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mesongi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
