Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Periklis Katevatis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Louis Renieris kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Mesongi FC's Ilias Giakoumis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Periklis Katevatis in the 18th minute of play forced Mesongi FC's goalkeeper Ntinos Kessaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Periklis Katevatis made a precise shot to the right of Ntinos Kessaris. Mesongi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the Mesongi FC defense, Makis Lagonikakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ntinos Kessaris. The Mesongi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ntinos Kessaris should have stopped the shot. Makis Lagonikakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ntinos Kessaris having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Louis Renieris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kouvarαs and the Mesongi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Kouvarαs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Renieris to maneuver through the defense. Ntinos Kalyvopoulos shot from long distance in the 28th minute, but Anastasios Dabizas was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 30th match minute, Kouvarαs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Renieris to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Mesongi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Periklis Katevatis came free, but Ntinos Kessaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasios Kaprivourkos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Mesongi FC's Sakis Nikolaidis in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 38 minutes into the match, Makis Lagonikakis notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Mesongi FC's Ntinos Kessaris. Ntinos Kessaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makis Lagonikakis in the 43rd minute of play forced Mesongi FC's goalkeeper Ntinos Kessaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Sakis Nikolaidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mesongi FC and the Kouvarαs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Kouvarαs were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mesongi FC's Ntinos Kessaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mesongi FC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Kouvarαs's Ntinos Kessaris threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Periklis Katevatis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 61 played minutes Kouvarαs got a freekick which was hit by Makis Lagonikakis. 63 minutes into the game, Giorgos Giannoglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Anastasios Dabizas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 67 minutes, Periklis Katevatis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kouvarαs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Periklis Katevatis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Makis Lagonikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes, Kouvarαs's Thalis Birbilis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ntinos Kessaris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kouvarαs reached it. Zacharias Sousanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Dabizas having to interfere. Makis Lagonikakis didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-6 via right post in the game's 83rd minute. Kouvarαs's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Mesongi FC's Ntinos Kessaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Periklis Katevatis in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Grigoris Mitras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mesongi FC and the Kouvarαs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grigoris Mitras hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Periklis Katevatis rounded Mesongi FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-7. When Giorgos Giannoglou fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mesongi FC's protests and gave Giorgos Giannoglou a yellow card for diving instead. Periklis Katevatis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ntinos Kessaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Makis Lagonikakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kouvarαs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
