Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mesongi FC's Giorgos Giannoglou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Zacharias Sousanis sped through Rodhopσs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iordanis Leontarakis. Zacharias Sousanis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. 17 minutes into the match, Pipis Mouratis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mesongi FC's Ntinos Kessaris. Ntinos Kessaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Mesongi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Servetas came free, but Ntinos Kessaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Pipis Mouratis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ntinos Kessaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Mesongi FC's Ntinos Kessaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Mouratis in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Mesongi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Nikolaidis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sotiris Servetas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodhopσs's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotiris Servetas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ntinos Kessaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sakis Nikolaidis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pipis Mouratis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Mouratis in the 34th minute of play forced Mesongi FC's goalkeeper Ntinos Kessaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilias Giakoumis hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pipis Mouratis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotiris Servetas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ntinos Kessaris having to make a save. After some careless play in the Mesongi FC defense, Pipis Mouratis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ntinos Kessaris. The Mesongi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ntinos Kessaris should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pipis Mouratis made a kick off. Sotiris Servetas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ntinos Kessaris having to interfere. When Pipis Mouratis came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Rodhopσs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipis Mouratis couldn't finish the play. Iordanis Leontarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacharias Sousanis in the 57th minute of the match. Ntinos Kessaris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotiris Servetas in the 61st minute. Pipis Mouratis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Rodhopσs got a freekick which was hit by Apostolis Kechribaris. Rodhopσs's Sotiris Servetas got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Rodhopσs got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Bosinakos. Pipis Mouratis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Sotiris Servetas lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Ntinos Kessaris. Ntinos Kessaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Mouratis in the 91st minute of play. Pipis Mouratis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Sotiris Servetas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
