An unexpectedly hard shot by Periklis Choutos in the 15th minute of play forced Karasoϊli's goalkeeper Efthimis Balaouras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanos Kavvadias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Efthimis Balaouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Karasoϊli's Efthimis Balaouras got control of the ball when Thanos Kavvadias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Thanos Kavvadias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Zacharoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Periklis Choutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
