Veniamin Sideris's late challenge caught a Chaïdeftó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veniamin Sideris helped the player get up and apologised. Veniamin Sideris hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nasos Kontodimos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Periklis Choutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, PAO METS's goal looked a bit too open when Periklis Choutos came free, but Nasos Kontodimos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Prodromos Nioplias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaggelos Kouradakis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. If Anthimos Pontikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nasos Kontodimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Kavvadias, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanos Kavvadias struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nasos Kontodimos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaïdeftó FC. Chaïdeftó FC's Thanos Kavvadias got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Periklis Choutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Kontodimos having to interfere. If Periklis Choutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

PAO METS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Periklis Choutos scored to the left of an out of position Nasos Kontodimos, making the score, 0-1. Nasos Kontodimos made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Thanos Kavvadias sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th of the match, Periklis Choutos tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nasos Kontodimos got in the way and made a wonderful save. Chaïdeftó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexis Tzolis in the 74th minute. Chaïdeftó FC's Renos Tatsidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthimos Pontikas in the 78th minute of play. PAO METS's Nasos Kontodimos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save PAO METS from getting a goal against them. After having played for 85 minutes, Periklis Choutos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaïdeftó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Periklis Choutos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sofoklis Thanoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Chaïdeftó FC's Periklis Choutos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nasos Kontodimos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Valentinos Matzavidis fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PAO METS's protests and gave Valentinos Matzavidis a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chaïdeftó FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
