Errikos Philipou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Belos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Errikos Philipou managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ's supporters rose to their feet, but Errikos Philipou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolis Belos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giannis Pantazoulis struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tolis Belos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ. 21 minutes into the match, ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos came free, but Apostolis Pavlakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nikos Giasemis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vemaνika FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vemaνika FC's zone, Giannis Pantazoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolis Belos came out of the goal and Giannis Pantazoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolis Belos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Pantazoulis in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Vemaνika FC got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Athanasakis. Thodoris Athanasakis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ's Alkaios Pekos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vemaνika FC. Dimitris Bakogiannopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apostolis Pavlakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Giasemis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giannis Pantazoulis was the one to do the kick off. Giannis Pantazoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tolis Belos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Pantazoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vladimiros Mitakidis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiros Mitakidis couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Nikos Giasemis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vemaνika FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Themistoklis Stelas fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ's protests and gave Themistoklis Stelas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, one of ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ΣΑΛΑΜΙΝΟΜΑΧΟΙ. Alkaios Pekos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes, Vemaνika FC's Anastasios Bosinakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Apostolis Pavlakos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vemaνika FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Giasemis got free with Apostolis Pavlakos in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giannis Pantazoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasios Bosinakis hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Vemaνika FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
