In the 19th minute, Apostolikas Katranidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thalis Xinos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Themos Symeonakis. 25 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Sgouros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PAO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Opayia the free kick. Konstantinos Sgouros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Markos Sioufas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAO FC's Charalambos Adamatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenios Koboroziadis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Opayia booed when PAO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelios Kanaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Paschalis Koupepes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charalambos Adamatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markos Sioufas succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. A collision led to PAO FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Konstantinos Sgouros hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markos Sioufas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes PAO FC got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Sgouros. When Opayia's Markos Sioufas in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Paschalis Koupepes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Charalambos Adamatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Sioufas in the 66th minute of play forced PAO FC's goalkeeper Charalambos Adamatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charalambos Adamatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markos Sioufas's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Pantelis Giannoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thalis Xinos having to interfere. If Markos Sioufas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PAO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Markos Sioufas scored to the left of an out of position Charalambos Adamatos, making the score, 0-2. 85 minutes into the game, Markos Sioufas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charalambos Adamatos. Markos Sioufas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, PAO FC's Eugenios Koboroziadis got a free kick in the 89th minute. PAO FC's Charalambos Adamatos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save PAO FC from getting a goal against them. The Opayia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
