In the 2nd minute, Babbis Nikitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantinos Karantonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menelaos Katsanevas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Thanos Kakavitsas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Konstantinos Karantonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menelaos Katsanevas in the 15th minute of play. If Menelaos Katsanevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Vafiokhori's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Ntavelis came free, but Konstantinos Karantonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vafiokhori's Charis Poulikakos got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Tilemachos Kokakias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantinos Karantonis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanos Kakavitsas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panos Amanatidis having to make a save. Thanos Kakavitsas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Panos Amanatidis made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, Vafiokhori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Kakavitsas to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Vafiokhori got a freekick which was hit by Aggelos Likouriotis. Nasos Ntavelis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Vafiokhori's Aggelos Likouriotis got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute, Lambros Goumas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vafiokhori's goalkeeper Konstantinos Karantonis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nasos Ntavelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantinos Karantonis was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 59 minutes, Aggelos Likouriotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vafiokhori and the Kosmirα players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nasos Ntavelis struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Konstantinos Karantonis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kosmirα. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menelaos Katsanevas got free with Konstantinos Karantonis in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iordanis Mouzis hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Charis Poulikakos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. 81 minutes into the match, Vafiokhori's goalkeeper Konstantinos Karantonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Menelaos Katsanevas. 86 minutes into the match, Vafiokhori's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Ntavelis came free, but Konstantinos Karantonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Menelaos Katsanevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Kavakos shot from long distance in the 95th minute, but Konstantinos Karantonis was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Kosmirα's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
