PAO FC's Charalambos Adamatos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save PAO FC from getting a goal against them. Kostas Marinopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panos Amanatidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. If Pantelis Giannoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Marinopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Panos Amanatidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menelaos Katsanevas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Charalambos Adamatos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, PAO FC's goalkeeper Charalambos Adamatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Menelaos Katsanevas. 39 minutes into the match, Kosmirα's Menelaos Katsanevas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charalambos Adamatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pantelis Giannoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Amanatidis having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in PAO FC's zone, Nasos Ntavelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charalambos Adamatos came out of the goal and Nasos Ntavelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Menelaos Katsanevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Nasos Ntavelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kosmirα fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Menelaos Katsanevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PAO FC's Charalambos Adamatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menelaos Katsanevas in the 66th minute of play. Pantelis Giannoulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Panos Amanatidis made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, PAO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Menelaos Katsanevas came free, but Charalambos Adamatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Amanatidis made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Pantelis Giannoulis sent off a good shot on target. PAO FC's Charalambos Adamatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menelaos Katsanevas in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to PAO FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Louis Koromilas hit a great ball. Menelaos Katsanevas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charalambos Adamatos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menelaos Katsanevas in the 88th minute of play forced PAO FC's goalkeeper Charalambos Adamatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Kostas Marinopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menelaos Katsanevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the PAO FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kosmirα.
