Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kleanthis Macheras took the kick off in the first half of the match. Savas Tzolis struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Kostas Botsaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ellinokastron BC. 5 minutes into the match, Drestinνkon's goal looked a bit too open when Kleanthis Macheras came free, but Kostas Botsaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes, Periklis Botinos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ellinokastron BC and the Drestinνkon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Drestinνkon booed when Ellinokastron BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Periklis Botinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anestis Kollias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 13 played minutes Drestinνkon got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Papakrivos. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Savas Tzolis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, Ellinokastron BC's Savas Tzolis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Botsaris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kostas Botsaris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Savas Tzolis in the 23rd minute. Savas Tzolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theocharis Gaitanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sotos Tabakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Theocharis Gaitanos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Anestis Kollias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drestinνkon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anestis Kollias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anestis Kollias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kleanthis Macheras came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ellinokastron BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kleanthis Macheras couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theocharis Gaitanos made a kick off. The supporters of Ellinokastron BC booed when Drestinνkon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lefteris Plousis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 59 in the game by Anestis Kollias from a close distance when the talented Sotos Tabakos managed to make a qualified save. Ellinokastron BC's players were relieved. Ellinokastron BC's Kleanthis Macheras got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanos Politis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Anestis Kollias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Tabakos having to interfere. Kostas Botsaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kleanthis Macheras in the 75th minute of the match. With his leg Sotos Tabakos managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Drestinνkon's Theocharis Gaitanos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Drestinνkon's zone, Savas Tzolis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Botsaris came out of the goal and Savas Tzolis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleanthis Macheras in the 93rd minute of play forced Drestinνkon's goalkeeper Kostas Botsaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 97 in the game by Theocharis Gaitanos from a close distance when the talented Sotos Tabakos managed to make a qualified save. Ellinokastron BC's players were relieved. Ellinokastron BC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
