Vrasidas Sapanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Tsironis having to interfere. Vlassis Kotsios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aggelos Barberopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Vlassis Kotsios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th play minute Vlassis Kotsios came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aggelos Barberopoulos. 1-0. Vrasidas Sapanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorotheos Tsironis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vrasidas Sapanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Koulis Petriniotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vrasidas Sapanis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Tavla BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lambis Piperoglou to maneuver through the defense. In the 55thth minute of the game Vlassis Kotsios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tavla BC's Aggelos Barberopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Giorgos Digozis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tavla BC's zone, Koulis Petriniotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aggelos Barberopoulos came out of the goal and Koulis Petriniotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tavla BC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Andreas Charalambidis hit a great ball. Vlassis Kotsios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Koulis Petriniotis made a precise shot to the right of Aggelos Barberopoulos. Tavla BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Tavla BC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Lambis Piperoglou hit a great ball. Tavla BC's Lambis Piperoglou got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Lambis Piperoglou off the ground. After 81 played minutes Tavla BC got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Piperoglou. Vlassis Kotsios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Barberopoulos having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Tavla BC's goal looked a bit too open when Koulis Petriniotis came free, but Aggelos Barberopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tavla BC's Marinos Papazoudis got a free kick in the 95th minute. Vrasidas Sapanis hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sfendνli FC's Filippos Trikoupis tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sfendνli FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
