Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugenios Katsiaros took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simos Karagrigoriou to maneuver through the defense. Ilias Kalamaropoulos took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simos Kakoudakis. Simos Kakoudakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas's Paraskevas Bakogiannis got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ilias Kalamaropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Simos Kakoudakis made a huge save. Telis Varvouzanis struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Simos Kakoudakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mourtia. Ilias Kalamaropoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Simos Kakoudakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Telis Varvouzanis made the kick off in the second half. Ilias Kalamaropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Simos Kakoudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mourtia's Telis Varvouzanis got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ilias Kalamaropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simos Kakoudakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paris Kourbanas in the 71st minute of play. Simos Kakoudakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Kalamaropoulos in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas's goal looked a bit too open when Ilias Kalamaropoulos came free, but Simos Kakoudakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Paris Kourbanas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mourtia and the Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Mourtia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Kourbanas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 94 minutes, Telis Varvouzanis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mourtia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telis Varvouzanis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telis Varvouzanis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
