Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kleon Paraskevakos made the kick off which started today's match. 12 minutes into the game, Theodosis Kaimakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karpathos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ's Theodosis Kaimakis got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, one of ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ. A collision led to Karpathos FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stelios Karouzos hit a great ball. ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ's Theodosis Kaimakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Karpathos FC. 36 minutes into the match, Stelios Karouzos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alkinoos Pavlakos, 2-0. Kleon Paraskevakoss short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Alkinoos Pavlakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stelios Karouzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkinoos Pavlakos having to interfere. Flavio Iago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alkinoos Pavlakos having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikitas Kolibas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Karpathos FC's goalkeeper Marios Mourikis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Makis Xanthakos. Alkinoos Pavlakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Iago in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makis Xanthakos in the 57th minute of play forced Karpathos FC's goalkeeper Marios Mourikis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kleon Paraskevakos in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alkinoos Pavlakos saved ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ from getting behind. Flavio Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Makis Xanthakos's late challenge caught a Karpathos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Makis Xanthakos helped the player get up and apologised. Makis Xanthakos hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Makis Xanthakos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Kleon Paraskevakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ's Alkinoos Pavlakos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ's zone, Kleon Paraskevakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkinoos Pavlakos came out of the goal and Kleon Paraskevakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kleon Paraskevakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Nikitas Kolibas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marios Mourikis, 2-1. Theofanis Aggeliadis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marios Mourikis firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 91 played minutes Karpathos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Karanikolaou. Marios Mourikis was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Nikitas Kolibas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikitas Kolibas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 98 minutes into the match, ΠΑΝΑΘΗΝΑΙΚΟΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Kleon Paraskevakos came free, but Alkinoos Pavlakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
