Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thalis Eleftherakis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of AETOS CHANIA booed when Savαlia BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Kabouroglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savαlia BC's Themis Steliadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Fakkas in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Savαlia BC's Thalis Eleftherakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Régis da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Manos Paleologos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AETOS CHANIA's Régis da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Eleftherakis in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to AETOS CHANIA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Manolis Panagidis hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionysis Katzos during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dionysis Katzos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Paris Fakkas came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the AETOS CHANIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Fakkas couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Savαlia BC's Themis Steliadis got control of the ball when Manos Paleologos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paris Fakkas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paris Fakkas made a kick off. Themis Steliadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paris Fakkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Savαlia BC's Themis Steliadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manos Paleologos in the 59th minute of play. Régis da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babbis Kalapothakis in the 63rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Babbis Kalapothakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Régis da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dionysis Katzos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Themis Steliadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paris Fakkas in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes AETOS CHANIA got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Mitropoulos. In the 89th minute, one of Savαlia BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Savαlia BC. In the 98th minute Manos Paleologos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Steliadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
