The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Savαlia BC. The supporters of Savαlia BC booed when Palionéllini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaios Salmatanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palionéllini's Akis Veliou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Kalapothakis in the 64th minute of play. The Savαlia BC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Savαlia BC's Babbis Kalapothakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Palionéllini were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
