Andreas Beloutsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Kafkalas in the 73rd minute of the match. When Sotiris Kafkalas came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the KANARINIA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Kafkalas couldn't finish the play. Sokratis Paraskevopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, KANARINIA FC's Errikos Fotiou got control of the ball when Panos Venetidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Solomσs booed when KANARINIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Chelioudakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Renos Christodoulou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Errikos Fotiou. KANARINIA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renos Christodoulou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Errikos Fotiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menios Angos in the 84th minute of play. The Solomσs players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
