With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thodoris Matzios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes dodoni eagles got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Gianniotis. Kosmas Karamichalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Thodoris Matzios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Dhonιοka BC's zone, Kosmas Karamichalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thodoris Matzios came out of the goal and Kosmas Karamichalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thodoris Matzios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kosmas Karamichalos went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kosmas Karamichalos in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thodoris Matzios saved Dhonιοka BC from getting behind. If Kosmas Karamichalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Andreas Gianniotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. dodoni eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Gianniotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thodoris Matzios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Karamichalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Mendez struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Thodoris Matzios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dodoni eagles. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. dodoni eagles fully deserved thier win.
