Thodoris Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Mavrostomos in the 6th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Paliourgiα FC got a freekick which was hit by Prodromos Skopelitis. Savas Prezerakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogenis Giotakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Nikitas Karanikolas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogenis Giotakoglou in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savas Prezerakos saved Potamilan FC from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Christos Antoniou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Sotiris Kabouras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Paliourgiα FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prodromos Skopelitis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Christos Antoniou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paliourgiα FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Antoniou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savas Prezerakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Potamilan FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Diogenis Tassatos hit a great ball. Manos Leotsakos shot from long distance in the 25th minute, but Savas Prezerakos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Diogenis Giotakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christos Antoniou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savas Prezerakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Giotakoglou in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Potamilan FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Giorgos Simertzidis hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Paliourgiα FC were awarded a corner. Manos Leotsakos went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Giotakoglou was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Giorgos Simertzidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potamilan FC and the Paliourgiα FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giorgos Simertzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Potamilan FC's Nikos Milonakos tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Savas Prezerakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Antoniou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Paliourgiα FC got a freekick which was hit by Prodromos Skopelitis. 61 minutes into the match, Potamilan FC's Nikos Milonakos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Sotiris Kabouras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potamilan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sotiris Kabouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kostas Mavrostomos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marios Pachatouridis fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paliourgiα FC's protests and gave Marios Pachatouridis a yellow card for diving instead. Diogenis Tassatos kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Savas Prezerakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Antoniou in the 78th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Diogenis Giotakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Paliourgiα FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Potamilan FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Potamilan FC.
