Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leskαtsi BC's Iordanis Kyriakidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iordanis Kyriakidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Pedersson having to interfere. When Stergios Theriaklis came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Leskαtsi BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stergios Theriaklis couldn't finish the play. Iordanis Kyriakidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulf Pedersson having to make a save. When Leskαtsi BC's Stergios Theriaklis in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ulf Pedersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stergios Theriaklis in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Leskαtsi BC's Nikos Ntaralas got control of the ball when Eugenios Theodorakoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Pedersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordanis Kyriakidis's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Leskαtsi BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Fotoulis came free, but Nikos Ntaralas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaggelis Fotoulis to strike the kick off in the second half. Iordanis Kyriakidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulf Pedersson could save by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's goalkeeper Ulf Pedersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stergios Theriaklis. Eugenios Theodorakoglou charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenios Theodorakoglou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's Ulf Pedersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ from getting a goal against them. Dimitris Tzavelas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Leskαtsi BC's Nikos Ntaralas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alketas Kotsanakis in the 65th minute of play. Iordanis Kyriakidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ulf Pedersson made a huge save. A hard shot 68 in the game by Stergios Theriaklis from a close distance when the talented Ulf Pedersson managed to make a qualified save. Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's players were relieved. In the 69th match minute, Leskαtsi BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordanis Kyriakidis to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ booed when Leskαtsi BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Pragidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Vaggelis Fotoulis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Ntaralas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
